Frank Kutka, Sustainable Agriculture Faculty, College of Menominee Nation. The College of Menominee Nation and Bay Mills Community College have a grant to evaluate wild plum germplasm using a participatory plant breeding approach and to build relationships, grow community engagement, and increase local fresh food by teaming up with community members and regional colleges. Propagating a superior variety of wild plum is a long-term goal. Remote speaker. Free, no registration required.
