Community support is crucial to the Arboretum’s success. Generations of students and community members have continued the pioneering ecological restoration and research begun by early university and city visionaries, contributing to this special place to create its future.
Ways to get involved:
Volunteer as individuals, families, or groups—work on the land, share knowledge with visitors, or assist with education programs and special events.
Participate in citizen science research projects—studying storm water management, invertebrate conservation and ecology, ornithology, phenology, vegetation monitoring, and more.
Become a Friend of the Arboretum, a nonprofit organization that supports Arboretum programs.
Donate to the Arboretum to support land stewardship, citizen science, education, gardens, or research, honor a special person or event with a commemorative bench or tree, or make an estate gift.
We welcome and value your participation in the Arboretum community. Please let us know how you would like to be involved.
