“Avian Archive,” photographic prints of birds by Andy Kraushaar, will be on view in the Steinhauer Trust Gallery in January and February.

The exhibit features contemporary bird photographs printed using digital and historical processes, with some images mounted on vintage cabinet cards. By applying these different techniques, Kraushaar evokes the history of photography through his recent images. The exhibit is shaped by his experience as a professional photographer, archivist, curator, and collector, as well as his fascination with photography’s past.
