“Clouds: Never in Reruns, Water in Its Most Poetic Form,” photographs by Mark Weller, will be on view in the Steinhauer Trust Gallery in January and February.
Captured through a technique called “time-stacking,” Weller’s photographs use scale, motion, and visual intensity as an invitation to awe. They also invite viewers to reflect on the preciousness of water, the passage of time, and the accelerating forces of environmental change. Weller hopes the images create “a moment of stillness where viewers can absorb both the beauty and the vulnerability embedded in the atmosphere above,” the system that sustains the beauty and diversity of life on Earth.
