“From Dark to Light: A Collection of Wisconsin Spring Botanical Photographs,” by Thomas Lemke, will be on view in the Steinhauer Trust Gallery in March and April.

As the last of the snow melts, Lemke makes macro- and micro-photographic images of spring ephemeral buds, wildflower blossoms, and ferns. Using close-up photography, Lemke hopes to make a hidden world more visible and reveal unseen aspects of beauty.
