“Pollinator Effect,” watercolors by Helen Klebesadel, will be on view in the Steinhauer Trust Gallery in May and June.

The exhibit “Pollinator Effect” is a series of watercolors on paper and canvas that represents native ecosystems and the pollinators, songbirds, and other creatures that depend upon them. Klebesadel prefers watercolor as a medium due to its luminosity, flexibility, and environmental sustainability. Her visual concerns run the gamut from careful study to poetic, symbolic, and sometimes political representations of nature and human nature.
