BCycle Station Expands Options for Arboretum Visitors

BCycle station at the Arboretum Visitor Center

Just in time for summer exploring, a BCycle station has been installed near the Visitor Center and is open for use. This new addition expands options for getting to the Arboretum and helps advance our sustainability goals. Now anyone from college students and local residents to out-of-town visitors can ride a BCycle ebike to the Visitor Center, check it in at the station, and spend hours at the Arboretum. The station is located on the south (Curtis Prairie) side of our main parking lot.

We’re so grateful to the people and organizations that helped bring BCycle to the Arboretum: the UW–Madison Office of Sustainability’s Green Fund, the student-led coalition Campus Leaders for Energy Action Now (CLEAN), Friends of the Arboretum, and everyone who gave to our crowdfunding campaign last fall. We couldn’t have done this without your support!
